I served with Jimmy in Okinawa, where i was stationed, on multiple occasions. He was a great friend and was awesome to work with. He conducted himself well in the field and was a strong team member. I remember him always talking about wanting to be a sniper even though he was not in an MOS that could allow him to go. I am a reconnaissance marine and sniper and definitely would have loved to see him go. I think he would have done well. He know my wife and two sons as well. I may have only met Jimmy once, but that's all it takes to make a long lasting impression. I saw his joyful heart through his infectious smile. I saw his generous spirit through his selfless actions and I saw his loving heart through his heartfelt words! May each treasured memory of this precious child of God serve as comfort and strength to his wonderful mother, who I am honored to call my dearest friend, and each member of his family!!
