I cannot say enough good things about Harvey.
I met him when I was 14 and interested in photography. He took me under his wing and we learned together. He was extremely supportive in other ways. He allowed me to live in his darkroom when I was homeless and acted as my older brother for more than a decade. What I owe Harvey cannot be calculated and I was happy to tell him so a few years ago.
Harvey treated everyone - regardless of age, race, cultural orientation as his equal. No one ...has a bigger soul than Harvey Yale Gross.
Anyone who wants to contact me to exchange ideas or stories should feel free to do so. To his family and friends...my deepest condolences...in my book Harvey was the greatest friend.
