Obituary of Judy D. Bramble-Walker

Judy D. Bramble-Walker, age 77, of Columbus, formerly of Sykesville. passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. Judy was born in Ottawa Canada to the late Cecil and Corinne Dillon. She received her Master’s Degree and was a state certified teacher for home health aides. Judy started volunteering at the Christian Center in the Burlington Center Mall when they first opened. Knitting with Judy was both prayer and instruction almost every Thursday morning. She was also very into parish nursing and led many others to serve in their own churches. Judy loved to act and sing. She belonged to the Homestead Travel Troop and the Annual Follies. She was best known for portraying a pregnant woman while singing I Should Have Danced All Night. With the Travel Troop she often sang to make us smile holding 2 paper plates. Judy was a parishioner of the Sykesville Presbyterian Church and attended the Jacksonville Presbyterian Church after moving to Columbus. She was full of life and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Judy is survived by her husband William Walker; her 3 children Christopher Bramble of California, Virginia Kennedy of Michigan and Tim Bramble of New Jersey; brother Peter Dillon of Canada; 2 sisters Sandra Payne of Virginia and Nadine Jones of Pennsylvania; and her 4 grandchildren Kyra, Serena, Quinlan and Aiden.
Calling hours will be on Sunday, February 12 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM with a service at 3:30 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533. A Memorial Service will be held later on Sunday at 7:00 PM at the Jacksonville Presbyterian Church, located at 940 Jacksonville Mt Holly Rd, Bordentown, NJ 08505. Interment will be private.
