Obituary of Bobby Moore

Eugene Robert “Bobby” Moore, Sr., age 59, of Browns Mills died Monday, September 2 at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. Born in Mt. Holly, he was raised in New Lisbon and resided in Browns Mills for the past 42 years.
Bobby recently retired from the Pemberton Township Schools in the maintenance department and before that he worked in construction for 20 years for the Union Valley Corp. in Whiting building Crestwood Village. He also was a great craftsman who owned BJ Country Crafts. Bobby loved to hunt and was a member of the NRA and the BBB Hunting Club in Woodland Twp. He was also an avid surf fisherman at Island Beach State Park and was a member of the Beach Buggy Association.
Bobby was predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Nancy (nee Anderson) Moore and by his sister, Linda Moore. He is survived by his wife, Betty (nee Emmons) Moore; three children, Betty Nixon and husband Duane of New Egypt, Eugene Robert Moore, Jr. of Browns Mills and Terri Lynn Moore of Gloversville, NY; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Linda Moore of Maryland and Russell and Melissa Moore of Southampton; two sisters, Jane Moore of New Lisbon and Bonnie Moore of Pemberton; eight granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Bobby will be held on Saturday, September 7 at 12:00 Noon at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). Calling hours will be on Saturday morning from 11:00 AM until Noon at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
