Anna Fowler, age 85, of Juliustown, New Jersey went to heaven on August 7, 2013.
She is one of eight children born to the late Martin Ludvick and Evelyn Lehotsky in Middlesex, New Jersey. Anna attended school in the Bordentown - Chesterfield area. She married the late Francis William Fowler of Juliustown, New Jersey on September 29, 1955. Together they built their home in Juliustown, New Jersey and began their family. Anna will forever be remembered by her devoted brothers, John Ludvick and sister-in-law Violet of Freehold, New Jersey, brother Edward Ludvick and late sister-in-law Ruth of Roselawn, Indiana, the late George Ludwick and sister-in-law Betty, of Crosswicks, the late Martin Ludvick, and late sister Evelyn Green and late brother-in-law George of Cookstown, New Jersey, the late sister Mary Swartz, and the late brother-in-law Jeffery of Watseka, Illinois, and the late sister Helen Furth-Green and brother-in-law Ralph and George, of Cookstown, New Jersey. Anna is survived by two daughters: Ruth Anne Tobin and her son-in-law Christian of New Lisbon, New Jersey, and Edna Mae Fowler (Dee), of Juliustown, New Jersey.
Anna practiced cosmetology, employed by Westinghouse Electric in Trenton, New Jersey, Springfield Township Elementary School in food services, Jobstown, New Jersey and Northern Burlington Regional High School in food services. She was an active member of the Juliustown United Methodist Church and the Cookstown United Methodist Church. She loved to travel with her husband and their close knit family during her lifetime. Anna loved canning preserves, cooking, baking (Most famous for creampuffs and wedding cakes), dancing, and listening to the polka and bluegrass music with her family and friends. Anna touched the lives of many people with her smile, spirit for life and family, generosity and maintained her trademark sense of humor all the way to the end.
Funeral services for Anna will be held on Saturday, August 17 at 11:00 AM at the Cookstown United Methodist Church, 16 Main Street, Cookstown, NJ 08511. Burial will follow in the Juliustown Methodist Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Friday evening, August 16 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and again on Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Cookstown Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Anna’s memory may be made to the Cookstown United Methodist Church.
