Carrie E. (nee Hicks) Adams, age 53, of Hainesport died Tuesday, December 11 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. Born in Penns Grove, NJ, she lived in Hightstown and Mount Holly before moving to Hainesport two years ago. Daughter of the late Leonard and Caroline (Stanley) Hicks, she is survived by her husband, Robert Adams, Sr.; a son, Robert Adams, Jr. and wife Rosie of Bordentown; three daughters, Caroline Adams, Elizabeth Wallace and husband Scott and Fallon Adams all of Hainesport; a brother, Leonard Hicks and wife Christina of Hightstown; two grandchildren, Gianna Adams and Robert “Bubba” Adams III and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Funeral services for Carrie will be on Tuesday, December 18 at 10:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com), with burial to follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa, NJ. Calling hours will be on Sunday evening, December 16 and Monday evening, December 17 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
