Essie F. Myers, age 85, of Pemberton Twp. died Monday, August 13 at Samaritan Hospice in Mount Holly. Born in Lebanon, TN, she was a longtime resident of Browns Mills. Essie was retired from the Post Exchange at Fort Dix. She was a member of the Browns Mills United Methodist Church and also the Browns Mills Senior Citizens. Essie was predeceased by her former husband, Albert Myers in 2008. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kim and David Lindwall of Vincentown; a granddaughter, Jenny Brown of Southampton; two grandchildren; a dear friend, Leonard George of Browns Mills and several nieces and nephews in Millville, NJ, Maryland, Michigan and Tennessee. Funeral services for Essie will be held on Friday, August 17 at 11:30 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com), with calling hours from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown.
