Paul M. Michalchuk, age 89, of Millstone Twp. died Wednesday, July 11 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. Born in Trenton, he was a lifetime resident on the Millstone area. Paul served in the US Army during World War II. He was a highly skilled auto mechanic, retiring from the New Jersey State Police, working in West Trenton and Sea Girt. Paul was a member of the American Legion Post 148 in East Windsor and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Paul was predeceased by a daughter, Karen Michalchuk and he is survived by his wife of 57 years, Louise (nee Oldani) Michalchuk; three children, Diane Michalchuk of Pittsburgh, PA, Paul M. Michalchuk, Jr. of Monmouth Jct. and Concetta Raines of Millstone Twp. and six grandchildren. Funeral services for Paul will be held on Tuesday, July 17 at 2:30 PM at the Chapel of the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08533 (Please meet at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533 by 2:00 PM to drive to the cemetery in procession, www.tilghmanfh.com).
