Idalia M. Schaeffer, age 73, of New Egypt died Monday, May 7 at her sister’s house in Gardners, PA. Born in Puerto Rico, she was a long time resident of New Egypt. Idalia was predeceased by her husband, Stanley H. Schaeffer and by a daughter, Margaret L. Cifuentez. She is survived by three children, Diane J. Allen and husband Mark of New Egypt, Bruce E. Schaeffer and wife Lori of Mantua, NJ and Gerald M. Schaeffer of Wrightstown; two brothers, Joseph Calderon of Arizona and William Calderon of Shippensburg, PA; a sister, Isabel Lankford and husband Richard of Gardners, PA and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial for Idalia will be held on Thursday, May 10 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption, 28 Monmouth Road (Route 537), Wrightstown, NJ 08562 (www.churchoftheassumption.com), with Father Joseph Farrell officiating. Burial will follow the mass at Princeton Memorial Park on Gordon Road in Robbinsville.
