Elsie Ida Harrity, age 81, of Broadview Heights, OH died on Saturday, December 10 at Pine Valley Care Center in Richfield, OH. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was a resident of Jersey City, Whiting and Wood-Ridge, NJ before moving to Ohio to live with her son. Elsie was a retired legal and executive assistant and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Wood-Ridge and the Community Reformed Church in Whiting. Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Emma Schiff and by her beloved husband, William Harrity, Sr. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, William Jr. and Vincenza Harrity of Broadview Heights, OH; grandson David and Amanda Harrity and great grandchildren Emmalynne and Elias Harrity of Louisville, KY and granddaughter Amy Harrity of San Francisco, CA. She is also survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and William Goeller of Parsippany, NJ, grandson Daniel Goeller of Morris Township and granddaughter Kelly Goeller of Parsippany. Funeral services for Elsie will be held on Friday, December 16 at 10:15 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com), with burial to follow at the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ. Calling hours will be on Friday morning from 9:00 to 10:15 AM at the funeral home.
