Obituary of Laymon Cullers

Laymon A. Cullers of New Egypt, passed away Friday, October 7, 2011 at The Manor in Freehold, N.J. He was 79.
Born in Mathias, West Virginia, he was a resident of Mercerville before moving to New Egypt in 1967.
He was a tube roller at the Triangle Conduit and Cable in New Brunswick, N.J. for many years.
His passion was music. He was a self taught musician and his instrument of choice was the Dobro. Laymon donated a lot of his time playing in nursing homes and hospitals.
He was predeceased by his mother and father, Lee and Jennie Cullers and a son, Joseph Fennimore. He is survived by his wife, Alice Cullers of New Egypt, N.J.; a son, Edward Fennimore of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; a daughter and son-in-law, Marylou and Terry Beck of New Egypt, N.J.; a daughter-in-law, Denise Fennimore of New Egypt, N.J.; a sister, Olah Orbille of Virginia; twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 12, at 1pm at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt with burial to follow at the Zion Cemetery, Rt. 528 in New Egypt.
Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, 7 to 9pm at the funeral home.
